Bolkus Islands


Bolkus Islands (52˚20'00" 131˚16'00" In Skincuttle Inlet, off SE Moresby I, QCI). According to a Haida First Nation legend, these islands were the first part of Haida Gwaii to rise from the waters following the great flood and are thus sacred. An important village, Hagi (Xaagyah), was once located there.
