Bockett Islets


Bockett Islets (Just SE of Bockett Point), Bockett Point (50˚32'00" 126˚14'00" S side of E Cracroft I, Havannah Channel, N of Johnstone Str). William Charles Bockett died in 1859 while assistant surgeon aboard HMS Havannah, under Capt Thomas Harvey. He served on the Pacific Station, 1855–59. The islets were named by Capt George Richards in 1860 while on survey duties with HMS Plumper; the point was named in 1955.
