Bingham Narrows


Bingham Narrows (52˚38'00" 128˚37'00" In Alexander Inlet, Princess Royal I, NW of Bella Bella). Named in 1948 after Lady Margaret Diana Bingham (1905–77), the popular wife of Harold R L G Alexander, 1st Earl of Tunis and 17th gov gen of Canada, 1946–52. She was the second daughter of the Earl of Lucan and married Lord Alexander in 1931. They had four children, including one adopted during their stay in Canada.
