Bickle Passage


Bickle Passage (51˚34'00" 127˚34'00" N side of Walbran I, Rivers Inlet). According to BC historians Helen and Philip Akrigg, Eddie Bickle was working as the laundryman at Dr George Darby’s Rivers Inlet hospital at the time a new coastal survey was being conducted in the late 1930s. The name was adopted by the hydrographic service in 1947.
