Bentinck Island


Bentinck Island (48˚19'00" 123˚32'00" Between Race Rks and extreme S tip of Vancouver I). This feature may have been named after Lord George Bentinck (1802–48), a British Conservative politician and racehorse owner, and a grandson of William Cavendish-Bentinck, 3rd Duke of Portland (see Bentinck Narrows).
