Bent Harbour


Bent Harbour (52˚31'00" 129˚03'00" N side of Weeteeam Bay, SW side of Aristazabal I). Reginald Whitman Bent (1882–1962) served as a junior hydrographer on the 1926 survey of this part of the BC coast. He began working for the Canadian Hydrographic Service in 1915 and served mostly on the E coast, especially on the St Lawrence R and Gulf of St Lawrence, and in NS and NB.
