Belle Point (53˚13'00" 132˚03'00" N end of Maude I, Skidegate Inlet, QCI). Marie Isabella “Belle” Gillatt was a daughter of Capt James Gillatt (see Gillatt Arm), a retired British Army officer and Boer War veteran. The Gillatt family were pioneer settlers at Sandspit, moving there from Port Simpson in 1911 and building a large home and ranch.
