Bassett Point

Bassett Point (50˚20'00" 125˚07'00" SE point of Sonora I, N of Campbell R). George Bassett (1872–1943), an early settler in the area, lived within sight of this point and also owned land near Hole in the Wall. Apparently his descendants were still residing in the region many years later. The name was adopted by the hydrographic service in 1954.
