Ballet Bay


Ballet Bay (49˚43'00" 124˚11'00" S side of Blind Bay, Nelson I, entrance to Jervis Inlet). This year-round safe anchorage was named in 1941 by Nelson I residents Harry and Margery “Midge” Thomas, in honour of their daughter Audree, who joined the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo at age 14. She danced under the stage name Anna Istomina.
