Balagny Passage (52˚17'00" 128˚22'00" Between Watch I and SW tip of Don Peninsula, Milbanke Sd). Louise L’Hôtelier, whose stage and maiden name was Louise Balagny, was a native of France and a star of the Paris Grande Opera. In 1858, with her Chilean second husband and her son Charles Lombard (born of her first marriage), she moved to Victoria for a number of years, where Mr L’Hôtelier went into business as a coffee merchant.
