Antle Islands


Antle Islands (53 ̊29'00" 130 ̊27'00" In Kingkown Inlet, W side of Banks I). Rev John Antle (1865–1949) was born and raised in Nfld, where he worked in remote communities as a teacher and Anglican missionary. He moved to Washington state in 1897 and to Vancouver two years later. In 1904, after exploring the coast in the Laverock, a tiny boat, he established the Columbia Coast Mission.
