Reid, Irene (Hoffar)


REID, Irene (Hoffar), artist (b 2 Sept 1908, Vancouver; d 1994, Sidney). The daughter of Henry HOFFAR, a boatbuilder, she attended the Vancouver School of Decorative and Applied Arts (later EMILY CARR INSTITUTE OF ART & DESIGN) from 1925 to 1930, studying with Fred VARLEY and Charles SCOTT.
