MacKay, Duncan McMillan "Mickey"


MacKAY, Duncan McMillan "Mickey" a.k.a. the Wee Scot, hockey player (b 25 May 1894, Chelsey, ON; d 21 May 1940, Nelson). He came to BC in 1913 to play HOCKEY in GRAND FORKS and joined the VANCOUVER MILLIONAIRES of the PACIFIC COAST HOCKEY ASSOC the following year. He had a spectacular rookie year, leading the league in goals and points and playing a major role in the Millionaires' 1915 Stanley Cup victory.
