Kinglet


KINGLET is a tiny, plump bird found in coniferous forest habitat. Kinglets are seen flitting actively from branch to branch in search of INSECTS. The two N American species, the golden-crowned kinglet (Regulus satrapa) and the ruby-crowned kinglet (R. calendula), occur throughout BC.
