JEWETT, Pauline, academic, politician (b 11 Dec 1922, St Catharines, Ont; d 5 July 1992, Ottawa). Educated at Queen's Univ, Harvard and the London School of Economics, she was a member of Carleton Univ's political science department from 1955 to 1974 and director of its Institute of Canadian Studies from 1969 to 1971.
