Godfrey, Albert Earl


GODFREY, Albert Earl, aviator (b 27 July 1890, Killarney, MB; d 1 Jan 1982). He grew up in VANCOUVER. At age 12 he became involved in the military and became bugler for a local regiment. During WWI he was decorated for his exploits as a pilot with the Royal Flying Corps; he destroyed 17 enemy planes and 2 observation balloons.
