Dorreen


DORREEN, a tiny settlement on the CNR and the west side of the SKEENA R 41 km northeast of TERRACE, was named after E.J. Dorreen, a GRAND TRUNK PACIFIC RWY construction engineer from New Zealand. A school opened here in 1924 and a post office operated from 1925 to 1967.
