BELL-IRVING, Henry Pybus, real estate executive, lt gov 1978–1983 (b 21 Jan 1913, Vancouver; d there 21 Sept 2002). A grandson of H.O. BELL-IRVING, he grew up in VANCOUVER a scion of one of the city's leading families. After studies at UBC he joined the Seaforth Highlanders in 1932 and retired as a brigadier in 1945.
