Rivers as Resources

Posted by Daniel on Jan 20, 2009

A group of young historians has launched a series of interesting, if a bit academic, podcasts about environmental history in Canada. They can be listened to at http://niche.uwo.ca/naturespast. The second in the series is especially relevant to British Columbians because it deals with issues of hydroelectricity on our major rivers and with resource development in the Stikine Plateau.

Give it a listen.
