Your use of KnowBC.com (the "Service") constitutes your agreement to the Terms of Use below. Harbour Interactive Inc. ("Harbour") reserves the right to modify the Terms of Use at any time, and to prevent access for those users who violate the Terms set out below.

Copyright Protection
The Service — including all documentation, embedded code, programming, files, images, graphics, icons, editorial, and all intellectual property incorporated in or generated by KnowBC.com — are the sole property of Harbour and the copyright holders.

Permission to use any of the material other than for personal use of the licensee must be obtained in writing from Harbour. The Service and all trademarks, tradenames, copyrights and all other intellectual property which may or may not be defined are owned by Harbour and are protected by Canadian and US copyright laws and international treaties. No materials from the Service may be reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted or transmitted in any way, except as specifically set out below.

Usage Guidelines
You may print or download material from the Service for your personal, non-commercial use only—provided you do not remove or obscure any copyright or other proprietary notices.You may not decompile, reverse engineer, upload, post, transmit or commercially exploit the Service in any way. The Service includes links to third-party Web sites. Harbour disclaims any and all liability for the content or practices of such Web sites. You are responsible for your own communications and for the consequences of any posting you make to the Service. Harbour reserves the right to remove or edit any user-posted material. By posting your material to the Service, you automatically grant to Harbour a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive licence to use and reproduce your communications, or part thereof, in any form or medium.

Warranties and Liability Limitations
Harbour assumes no responsibility for the selection of this Service to achieve any intended purposes, for the proper use of this Service or for verifying the results obtained from use of this Service. Harbour licenses this Service "as is" and does not warrant that the functions contained in this Service will meet any requirements, that the Service is fit for any particular purpose or that the operation of the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Harbour does not warrant that the Service is compatible with every Internet browser or with every workstation.

In no event will Harbour be liable for any incidental, consequential or indirect damages (including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, interruption or loss of information) arising out of the use of or inability to use the Service, including if Harbour or any authorized representative has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Harbour makes no representations or warranties, expressed or implied, nor assumes any responsibility or liability for any restriction, complication, non-compliance, suitability or non-compatibility of the technology, software or hardware used to access and use the Service.

You agree that Harbour's liability hereunder for damages, regardless of form or action, will not exceed the subscription fee paid to Harbour to permit your access to the Service.

Term and Termination
The term of your subscription shall commence on Harbour's acceptance of your registration and shall end upon the expiry of the term of the fully paid subscription to the Service; upon the attempted illegal copying, distribution, transfer, assignment, lease or sale of the Service, or rights thereto, without the prior written consent of Harbour; or upon the notice in writing given by one party to the other upon the violation by that party of any provision of these Terms of Use.

Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia.
