Sportsnet Fumbles Magic Moment

Posted by Daniel on Feb 16, 2013

I am a bit of a hockey fan so I was watching last night on television when Henrik Sedin passed Markus Naslund to become the Canucks all-time leading point getter.

As the commentator said, it was a wonderful moment as the crowd rose to its feet in a huge ovation. Except that no sooner said than Sportsnet cut away for a commercial break, right in the middle of what by their own admission was one of the great moments in the history of the franchise.

To mix my sports metaphors, Sportsnet fumbled the ball badly.
