BC native Christopher Moore, a Toronto-based historian, has posted a provocative comment on his blog about Sunday's selection of Christy Clark as the new leader of the Liberal Party and our next premier.

Christopher notes that Clark won with the support of just 4,420 Liberals and despite the opposition of almost every member of the party caucus. "What has this to do with parliamentary democracy?" he asks.
