This introductory teacher's resource is intended to orient teachers to the Encyclopedia of British Columbia as an educational resource, relate the encyclopedia to the K-12 curricula and outline recommended teaching strategies. This first edition includes a single sample lesson. Like the EBC itself, the teacher's resource will be a subject of ongoing development with additional lessons and case studies added during the coming year.
The editors encourage teacher participation in the further development of the EBC teacher's resource. Any teachers wishing to submit suggestions or material for sample lessons or case studies are invited to contact the editors.
