What's New in the On-line Edition?

In a nutshell: lots! Dedicated editorial and technical teams are constantly updating and expanding the on-line EBC. Since its launch in September 2001, we have posted hundreds of updates and many new articles to the site, and new material is added every week.

As we go along, we are constantly updating and correcting the existing articles, adding new articles (and other content too) and integrating new cross-reference links as well as new links to external Web resources.

You will also find a number of new features, including Featured Updates, Subject Guides, complete-text searching and a new discussion forum. Jump in with your questions and comments and have your say on the many subjects we cover in the EBC. (Teachers will also find an introductory teacher's resource and sample lessons to illustrate how the EBC can be used in the classroom.)
